📗 Paper 2 – Comprehension, Literary Appreciation & Grammar (80 Marks)

Comprehension (20 marks):

  • Read and answer questions on a passage about Faith, Spirituality and Health

  • Topics covered:

    • Character traits of Mr. Walomu (calm, confident, persuasive)

Poetry (20 marks):

📙 Paper 3 – Imaginative Composition & Set Text Essays (60 Marks)

Imaginative Composition (20 marks):

  • Option A: Write a composition beginning with: “As I walked along the lonely path that evening, it was evident that I will reach home late…”

  • Option B: Write a composition that explains the saying: “Pride comes before a fall.”

Compulsory Set Text – The Samaritan by John Lara (20 marks):

  • Essay topic: “Leaders who are motivated by greed subject their citizens to suffering.”

  • Key characters to discuss:
