📙 Paper 3 – Imaginative Composition & Set Text Essays (60 Marks)

Imaginative Composition (20 marks):

  • Option A: Write a story ending with: “… Truth be told, we strongly believe that he was innocent.”

  • Option B: Write a story to illustrate the saying: “A fool and his money are soon parted.”

Compulsory Set Text – The Samaritan by John Lara (20 marks):

  • Essay topic: “Leaders who engage in social evils in the society will always try to hide their misdeeds when they are exposed but they fail miserably.” (Focus on Mayor Mossi)

  • Key points:

    • Moonlight Law – Challenges oppressive laws without fear

Option C: An Artist of the Floating World by Kazuo Ishiguro
