- The making of the shoulder dart.
- The making of a machine fell seam at the shoulder.
- The joining of the front and back neck facings at the shoulder and neatening the free edge of the joined facings.
- The preparation of an interfaced collar.
- The attaching of the collar using the joined facings.
- The attaching of the bodice pieces to the skirt pieces and neatening the back part only.
- The making and neatening of an open seam at the side. Attach the zip into the seam using the concealed method.
OMIT:
- The management of the lower hem and sleeve hem.
At the end of the examination, firmly sew on to your work, on a single fabric, a label bearing your name and index number. Remove needles and pins from your work, then fold your work carefully and place it in the envelope provided. Do not put scraps of materials in the envelope.
